Kanban, a method for managing knowledge work

January 10, 2015

In the ideal world, work and knowledge flow with little friction because e.g. in theory you might say that you have cross-functional, co-located, independent, self-organising treams. In the real world however there are all kinds of friction: e.g. silo's, specialists, communication, resistance to change to name a few. Kanban is a way of dealing with the present (friction in the current real world) and connecting with the future (flow in the ideal world). Visualisation, limiting WIP, creating flow are some of the key principles of The Kanban Method that help you deal with real world.

On our youtube channel you will find several videos on The Kanban Method.
